DEVELOPMENT OF LANGUAGE COURSE Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD)

GENERAL PURPOSE:
Facilitating behavioral tools that enable them to develop and enhance verbal and nonverbal communication in children with pervasive developmental disorders.
CONTENTS:
1 .- Language and communication, areas of language, verbal and nonverbal language, use, form and content, phonetic, semantic, morphosyntactic and pragmatic.
2 .- Evolutionary development of language by age and warning signs.
3 .- Classification of speech disorders, and enlargement on the most common ones: echolalia, dyslalia, dysphasia, language delay, dyspraxia, dyslexia.
4 .- Development Programme phonological aspect of language, evaluation of joint exercises articulators and development of articulation of phonemes.
5 .- Development of the semantic aspect of language, comprehensive and expressive vocabulary.
6 .- Development morphosyntactic aspects of language, construction of phrases, sentences, matching gender, number, use of articles, adjectives, verbs, adverbs.
7 .- Development of pragmatic aspect of language, language functionality verbal or nonverbal.
8 .- Guidelines for the control of disruptive behaviors in therapy
METHODOLOGY: Exhibition theoretical exercises, videos and discussion of materials. It requires submission of a paper for the course.
Is required to have Skype 5.0 installed computer, microphone, headphones and a stable internet connection.
DURATION: 15 hours (6 sessions, once per week, 2 hours each, online)
Group 1: Tuesday evenings, 7:30 to 10:00 pm, when Venezuela)
Group 2: Saturday 2:30 to 5:00 pm, local time in Venezuela.
Group 3: Thursday 6:30 to 9:00 pm when Venezuela.
START DATE: Tuesday, April 5, Thursday April 7 and Saturday 8 April.
PARTICIPANTS: Maximum 10 participants per group.
